1.1.0-beta.12.8 / BETA
Delta ACARS Beta 12.8 — phpVMS SimBrief Aircraft
Reuse the real phpVMS aircraft already linked to the signed-in pilot's saved SimBrief plan, then eligible bid aircraft, otherwise manually select.
New Features
- Reads the saved phpVMS SimBrief plan for this exact flight and authenticated pilot without using an unscoped shared-flight relation
- Prefers a registered and eligible phpVMS SimBrief aircraft ID over the bid aircraft ID without rewriting the bid
- Falls back to eligible aircraft stored in the phpVMS bid; missing IDs prompt manual selection rather than guessing from ICAO aircraft type
- Preserves Delta Typical Subfleet and Aerolynx airline-only flight/subfleet rules and parked/airport restrictions
- Shows aircraft source and meaningful warnings for unavailable saved phpVMS SimBrief aircraft
- No new database migration; one phpVMS service patch and CLI-only relationship diagnostic for each site
Improvements
- Preserves Simulator Bridge guided setup, recovery discard, flight timeline and flight analysis from the previous beta
- Delta and Aerolynx login, credentials and updater channels remain separate
Known Issues
- The phpVMS website must actually save a user/flight-linked SimBrief plan with an aircraft ID; importing a standalone OFP does not create that relationship
- Unsigned Windows QA builds: native Windows, live phpVMS database, simulated flights and authorized Azure signing remain to be tested
Additional Notes
Release Manager draft only; NOT the Windows updater windows.json. Install and validate the phpVMS service patch separately before Windows rollout.
