Delta ACARS Beta 13.1 — Flight Scoring & Recovery Improvements
Flight Scoring 1.1 reduces false taxi penalties, improves interrupted-flight start/recovery, and refines Delta Flight Dispatch aircraft selection and light-theme readability.
New Features
- Flight Scoring 1.1 uses continuous, timestamped taxi overspeed evidence and excludes identified takeoff/landing rollout intervals
- Safer start-session recovery reconnects eligible existing sessions rather than reattaching a PIREP to a new session
- Delta Flight Dispatch Choose Aircraft opens the manual aircraft picker while honoring Typical Subfleet restrictions
Improvements
- Require at least three distinct qualifying overspeed samples spanning at least eight seconds with bounded gaps
- Show qualifying time and peak speed for taxi-speed deductions
- Return structured session conflict errors instead of exposing raw SQL statements
- Improve contrast of the white Next Bid card and flight-selection details
Bug Fixes
- Reduce false 35-knot taxi deductions caused by late takeoff-phase or landing-roll classification
- Avoid rebinding a phpVMS PIREP already associated with another Delta ACARS session
- Clarify recovery guidance when saved local flight data is incomplete
Known Issues
- Unsigned Windows QA build: native Windows, MSFS/X-Plane, phpVMS staging database integration, and Azure Artifact Signing validation are required before public deployment.
- Recovery cannot restore telemetry that was never saved locally or received by the server.
- The additional duplicate-active-flight server guard is a separate QA hotfix; it is not included in or confirmed deployed with this release.
- No verified signed installer URL or Windows updater manifest is supplied in this Release Manager draft.
- Historical PIREP scores are not automatically recalculated.
Additional Notes
DRAFT ONLY; not windows.json. Verify and stage the Delta DVACARS server patch (SessionController.php and FlightScoringService.php) before client rollout. Do not overwrite existing phpVMS customizations or external-client PIREP scores. Add signed installer URL, SHA-256 and verification fields only after independently verifying signed artifacts. Import does not publish or activate an updater. The separate duplicate-active-session QA hotfix requires its own server-side review.
