Delta ACARS Beta 13.3 — Flight Automation Settings & Installer Clarity
Flight automation controls now live in Settings, while the existing installer and updater offer clearer guidance and stronger recovery protection.
New Features
- Settings > Flight Tracking & Automation groups Pause at TOD and PIREP auto-submit/countdown settings
- Installer identifies clean setup versus upgrade or same-version repair, displays brand/publisher/version, and offers optional desktop shortcut
Improvements
- Removed duplicate automation controls from Diagnostics while preserving current settings
- Installer refuses to overwrite an actively running ACARS executable
- Update button describes download + install + restart and prevents updates with unsynchronized flight evidence
- Existing updater retains automatic relaunch where Windows permissions allow; elevated updates require normal manual relaunch
Bug Fixes
- Prevent installing over a running or tray-resident ACARS process
- Prevent updates while a saved/recoverable flight or queued telemetry/events/final synchronization remain
- Carry forward previous PIREP scoring, recovery, and submission improvements
Known Issues
- Unsigned Windows QA; native simulator/Windows tests and Azure signing not yet performed
- No complete native graphical wizard or new dedicated updater; updater architecture overhaul postponed
- Download begins when user selects Download, Install & Restart; there is no background/staged download queue
- Elevated updater does not automatically relaunch the client with administrator privileges; reopen from Start menu
Additional Notes
DRAFT ONLY. Client-side Windows update; no server migration or module changes in this release. Publish only after code signing and real upgrade/rollback verification. Signed installer/update URLs pending. Separate Discord changelog included.
