Pilot Activity, Inactivity, and Leave

What the 60-day flight requirement means and how reactivation works.

PILOT RESOURCE / GUIDE

How often must I fly?

After completing your initial first-flight requirement, an active pilot must submit at least one accepted flight every 60 days.

What happens if I miss 60 days?

Delta Virtual places inactive pilots on Leave. Inactivity alone does not delete, retire, or terminate an established member's account, and Leave has no maximum duration.

How do I reactivate?

Contact Delta Virtual staff and ask to return to active status. Reactivation can be requested at any time. If unresolved disciplinary, security, or account matters exist, staff may need to review them first.

What if I am brand-new?

New pilots follow a separate requirement: one accepted flight within 14 days after registering, followed by a three-day warning window. Missing that new-member deadline results in removal; the ordinary ongoing Leave policy does not replace it.

Real life comes first

Delta Virtual is a hobby. If you need to step away, you can return when you are able. Reach out through the official Discord if you need help.
